PERMANENT JEWELRY AFTER CARE
Permanent jewelry is like any other piece of jewelry, it is not indestructible, so please treat it with care.
Avoid
- Getting chains caught or pulled as this may cause them to stretch or break. Stainless steel is the strongest metal and is less likely to break. 14k Solid Gold is the softest metal and very delicate. Please take extra care with solid gold to prevent breaking.
- Direct contact with any abrasive & harsh chemicals.
- Applying perfume, lotions and sunscreen directly on jewelry.
Note
- Thoroughly dry jewelry when wet.
- Pools and hot tubs may discolour jewelry.
- Sterling silver may naturally oxidize overtime.
To Clean: Wash with a gentle soap and soft brush (old toothbrush works great!), dry thoroughly and polish with a jewelry polishing cloth.
REPAIR POLICY
While these chains are designed to withstand everyday wear, they do have their limits. If your bracelet, anklet or necklace gets snagged or stuck on something and breaks, put it in a safe place and contact me to schedule a repair. I will re weld the chain but unfortunately can not replace the entire chain.
If your permanent chain breaks off within the first 30 days I will weld it back on for free.
After 30 days I can weld it back together for a $15 fee.
If for any reason you need your jewelry removed, simply cut the jump ring (where the chain is welded together) using sharp scissors. If you are unable to remove it yourself please contact me and I can help. When you are ready to have your chain placed back on please contact me and I will weld it back on for a $15 fee.
If the chain is too damaged to re-weld, a new chain will need to be purchased.
Some chains are prone to stretching depending on the shape and metal of the chain. If you notice your chain is becoming too loose, I can remove a few links and re-weld it back together for a $15 fee.
PERSONAL JEWELRY REPAIR POLICY
Please note I am not a professional jeweller and do not specialize in jewelry repair. I may be able to fix a broken or damaged chain but I will have to asses the damage first and see if I am capable to repair it. If you are needing a piece if jewelry repaired please email me a photo of the jewelry and a clear indication of the damage. I will get back to you and let you know if I am able to repair it or not.
I will not repair irreplaceable items such as expensive gold or heirlooms.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS
Breastmilk jewelry is extremely unique to your own breastfeeding journey. You will want to keep it as long as possible. Following these guidelines will help the longevity and beauty of your piece.
The silver (as most metals) will tarnish over time but can be polished with a polishing cloth to gain back the shine.
To care for your breastmilk piece:
* Do not wear in water or condensation. Do not swim, bathe, shower, be in a sauna or exercise in your jewelry.
* Keep your jewelry away from direct sunlight and heat.
* Remove jewelry while applying any topical creams and/or oils or using house hold cleaning products.
* Take off when doing heavy chores, cleaning, gardening, or at the beach where sand and dirt can get stuck in your jewelry.
Remember this piece of jewelry is unique and in some cases irreplaceable. You can wear your jewelry daily keeping in mind these guidelines. Breastmilk jewelry can last a lifetime with proper care.
